Ennis, TX Bluebonnets
Ever since we moved to Texas, I’ve been anticipating bluebonnet season. Mainly because I’ve never seen it and I wanted to know what all of the fuss was about. I started googling where the best place to see these beauties was and Ennis, TX was at the top of all of the lists. It’s even called the “Official Bluebonnet City of Texas!”
40 miles of driving trails, a beautiful park, and a multitude of bluebonnets are a few of the reasons why this Texas town attracts visitors to see the bluebonnets. Boy did it not disappoint. I was in awe of the bluebonnets the entire time we were in Ennis. I’ve never seen anything like it – there are fields full of these gorgeous blue flowers. And the flowers themselves are so interesting! I couldn’t stop looking at them and Daisy couldn’t stop trying to eat them, ha.
I love that we can take her everywhere with us. Daisy loves road trips and always pouts when she thinks we are leaving her at home, even if we’re just going to the grocery store. But when she gets to go on adventures, she is so excited and hops in the car faster than I can call for her! I hope she’s ready for another road trip because this weekend is the Bluebonnet Trails Festival in Ennis, TX and we’re going!
